With a few weeks until Christmas, the chase is on to bag those bargains and get hold of the last minute gift ideas.
I thought that for this post, I would share some of the items that have caught my eye for Christmas 2018.
I recently attended a PR event for a brand called Eden Tree Active Skincare.
To say I love everything about this brand, from its ethos to the actual products is an understatement.
The main aspect I particularly admire is the fact that the brand takes into account your overall health and inner wellbeing, with products like drinkable multivitamins…who knew!
The products range from cleansers, to serums, face washes to moisturisers. There are haircare products, as well as a body scrub which is 100% natural and vegan (one of my favs).
Edentree also sells homeware products and for Christmas they have come out with a line of festive candles, which I must say smell amazing!
Health and wellbeing:
Holland and Barrett is generally my go to place when I’m searching for products to give me energy or just make me feel healthier.
Personally, I am a lover of their Nature’s Garden Turmeric supplements. The health benefits of Turmeric are amazing and so taking a supplement is a great way to get it into your system.
At the moment Holland and Barrett are doing 3 for 2 on Christmas gifting, meaning that you can definitely pick up some bargains.
One of the things that has caught my eye is the Dr Organic Charcoal face cleansing gift set. It’s currently reduced to £11 from £17.50.
However they have a whole range of products ranging from bath salts to chocolates! Basically there is something for everyone!
I am not sure how long the Christmas 3 for 2 will last, however the great thing about Holland and Barrett is that most of the time they have great offers on.
If you are looking to get healthier in 2019, then its definitely worth a look.
Home and Lifestyle
You may not believe it, but 2018 has introduced me to the wonderful world of Aldi.
It actually bugs me, that for the longest amount of time, I was missing out on what they have to offer.
I previously did a post called ‘Christmas in July’ which is all about my attendance at Aldi’s Christmas press day this year.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover, that aside from food, Aldi have an amazing home and beauty range which might actually shock you. (If you like Jo Malone products, you will be in for a great surprise).
I recently bagged myself a fantastic coat during the black Friday sale at Topshop.
Although black Friday is over and done with, Topshop currently has up to 50% off all party wear.
It’s been a good few years since I shopped at Topshop, however I will say I have seen some great pieces from them recently.
With party season about to be in full swing, why not take a look…sooner rather than later as I have no idea how long the 50% off will last.
Sparkle and shine
So you don’t quite have the budget for that necklace or earings from Tiffany’s.
You are not alone, but do not worry. Jewellerybox has got you covered.
They currently have jewellery pieces that can make great stocking fillers which retail for £10 and under!
Having previously owned jewellery from them, I can state you will not be disappointed.
Best of all, there is no breaking the bank (my favourite kind of shopping).
If you fancy treating yourself, or someone else, getting a product which is limited edition is always a great idea.
It is more than likely you will have to spend a bit more, but it’s worth it right? Especially if its from an iconic brand….like Chanel for example.
All my friends know that my go to perfume is Chanel.No5. So I was beside myself when I found out that they have launched a limited red edition of Chanel No.5.
In fact they have actually launched ‘The Red List‘ which is a small collection of some of their red products.
The perfume retails for £130, which is a bit pricey, but not far off from the original price, which is around the £90 mark, depending on where you buy it.
My tip for perfume buying, is to buy a few bottles at duty free when you travel. I find that by the time I run out, it’s time for me to travel again so I can buy some more. Failing that if you are not a traveller, ask a friend that does travel. Trust me, any way to make a saving is always a good idea!
…that’s all folks!
So that’s it for my Christmas recommendations. Hopefully you have already got most of your presents. However if you are still shopping, I hope some of the products I have mentioned appeal to you.
Hopefully I am able to post again before Christmas. If I don’t I hope you and your loved ones have an amazing Christmas.
Most importantly do not forget the reason for the season xx
